Luke Grant

Luke graduated from Stellenbosch with a B.Comm in 2006 and in 2009 opened his first restaurant, The Nook Eatery which he then sold three years later. He then spent a year at Spier as Operations Manager for the Eight restaurant and Deli.
Luke opened his next restaurant, The Table at De Meye in Stellenbosch in June 2013. It opens only at weekends for lunch, and Luke focuses on sustainable practices, supporting local producers and small farmers and growing his own produce at the both the restaurant’s
vegetable garden and his home-based garden. The Table Restaurant was the Winner of the Eat Out Sustainability Award in 2016.
